 Crikvenica is situated in the Kvarner bay of the Adriatic Sea, at a distance of 33 km from Rijeka, a major road and railway junction at the centre of the district of Primorje and Gorski kotar, also home to Crikvenica. The entire town of Crikvenica is in fact a Riviera with a row of almost connected small tourist resorts: Selce, Crikvenica, Dramalj and Jadranovo. The town spreads about 28 square kilometres in the coastal zone, which is about 15 km long and about 2 km wide, and is situated between the sea and the elongated littoral reef at an average height of about 300 m above sea level. |

Rovinj, a small town in Croatia, on the west coast of Istria, on 45° 01' of latitude and 13° 38' of longitude east of Greenwich. It is one of nine towns in Istrian County that cover almost the whole Istrian peninsula or 2.815.09 sq. km. i.e. 5% of the Republic of Croatia. Town Rovinj has, according to the census from 1991, 12.910 inhabitants, out of which 1.761 are members of Italian national community. The climate is Mediterranean. The average temperature is 4,8° C in January and 22,3° C in July. The average annual temperature is 16° C. Sea temperature is more than 20° C from the middle of June to the middle of September. The average annual sea temperature is 16,6 ° C. From the middle of May to the middle of September the sun shines more than 10 hours a day. The rainfall averages 940 mm a year. The average moist level is 72%. Vegetation is subtropical. |

Hvar is a town and port on the south-western coast of the island of Hvar; lies in the cove protected by the Pakleni Islands in the south and a low crest in the north. The newest part of the town developed around the port. The development of tourism began in the 1920s; today Hvar is one of the most visited tourist centers of Dalmatia. Hvar is located on the regional road running along the entire island. Bus lines connect all major towns and villages (Stari Grad, Vrbanj, Jelsa, etc.). Ferry lines with Split, Rijeka, Zadar, Dubrovnik and major islands of the archipelago. Hvar is famous for its very specific climate with a lot of sunshine, very few rainy days and almost no snow at all. As a rule, hotel guests pay only half a price if it is raining for the whole day and nothing at all if it is snowing (which occurs almost never). |
