Orebic Town with more than 1500 inhabitants, on the south side of the Peljesac peninsula, turned towards Korcula, at the foot of the Sv.Ilija mountain (961m). Colorful town, birthplace of navala captains and sailors whose rich tradition is kept in the Orebic naval museum. Orebic provides to its guests untouched nature of centennial pines, cypresses, olives, almonds, agaves and flowers.
Orebic gives excellent oportunities to take walks along the sea where Orebic yards are lined up, along the picturesque sandy beaches and vegetation or further inland.
What to see?
